Get Them Talking! Building Voice, Belonging & Proficiency
What if the most powerful shift in the language classroom isn’t a new curriculum or activity, but changing who is doing the talking? If language is identity, connection, and voice, students need meaningful opportunities to use it. In this highly active session, participants experience how purposeful movement and interaction transform teacher-directed learning into a community of language users. Through structures that integrate authentic literacy and all four skills, participants discover how to increase student-to-student communication while deepening belonging and advancing proficiency. They leave having experienced the learning themselves, with practical strategies ready to use tomorrow.
